They are not equal chapters

The sections are intentionally uneven. A number can open a new room, mark a shift in pressure, or stamp the film toward closure.

Each zone carries a pressure

The early zones organize position and voice. The middle zones push rehearsal, body, and sensation. The later zones expose public action, backstage sound, names, and silence.

The visual timeline matters

A long film is difficult to hold by memory alone. One-minute frames and six-second subframes let a viewer return to the exact visual situation around a line.
